Hello,
I am happy to see on the “d800.org” WEB page the D800 body with the 24 mm PC-E f/3.5 Tilt-shift lens mounted and, would appreciate if somebody can spare some time to answer my questions below:
1) Does this set-up allow for all manipulations of the lens over its entire range for each adjustment; the tilt, shift and rotation without getting in conflict with the camera body or being limited somehow?
2) If there are limitations of adjusting this lens over its full range, what would those limitations be?

The 24mm f/3.5 PC-E works with both tilt and shift on the Nikon D800. Nikon Europe has previously stated the D800 allows full range of adjustment. This fact was re-confirmed again today by Nikon Nordic. http://www.megapixel.co.il/english/archive/28747

thank you very much for your prompt confirmation for full tilt & shift adjustment on the D800 body.
For the time I am fine and would come back to you when I have to decide about the D800 or D800E.
This also related to allow/explore for UV (Ultra violet) and IR (Infra Red) picture shooting (reference: Bjørn Rørslett), a different field than tilt & shift I am interested in, too.
