The Nikon D800 will be shipping in late March 2012, and reviews of the production model will not be available until then. There are several previews based on hands-on use of pre-production D800 and D800E. The cameras were displayed to the press at the official Nikon Announcement on February 7, and at the CP+ Photo & Imaging Show in Japan on February 9-12, 2012.
