The major online retailers have been overwhelmed with the early rush for the Nikon D800. Retailers such as Amazon closed their pre-order within a day of putting it up because they would be unable to fulfill all the demand. It looks like Best Buy also closed their D800 preorder (camera is now just listed as “coming soon”).
