Amazon is shipping another batch of Nikon D800 cameras to those who pre-ordered early after the camera was announced. Recently, some of the early pre-orders that were not yet fulfilled were given a delivery time frame of mid-to-late April. Yesterday, the delivery estimate was removed entirely, however it now appears that Amazon has received another shipment of D800 from Nikon. The order status for an order plated late on February 6 has changed to “Shipping Soon” as of April 30.
Amazon first started accepting pre-orders on February 6, 2012. They received so many orders they removed the pre-order option on on February 7.
Dates for early March 12th orders being fulfilled.
